This handmade sterling silver water cast ring is created using recycled silver off-cuts, melted and dropped into water to form organic, sculptural shapes. This water casting technique produces a completely unique result every time, making each ring truly one of a kind.
The water cast silver sculpture is set on a textured sterling silver band, adding contrast, and a tactile finish. The combination of molten cast texture and the hand finished band are designed for everyday wear or as a statement piece. This ring celebrates the natural movement and unpredictability of molten silver when combined with water.
Handmade by me at my workbench in Bristol, UK, using recycled sterling silver, this ring reflects my commitment to sustainable jewellery, slow craft, and traditional metalsmithing techniques.
