About me

I'm Lottie and I started Foraged Smith as a side project whilst working as a HGV technician apprentice. I started welding lorries which sparked my love for metalwork.

What began as making steel jewellery on the side, often from cutlery or other "foraged" sustainable items. This includes my signature metal boob designs, which started as recyced exhaust brackets, nuts and washers, a response to the male-dominated industry I worked in.

I try to work with as many recycled or ‘foraged’ materials as possible, hence the name! My current work is mainly with silver. Metal working allows me to bring to life unique designs and commissions. Giving a new life to otherwise discarded item brings me so much joy, I love a challenge and adore creating bespoke, recycled and handmade products.
