I'm Lottie, the maker, designer and everything else inbetween behind Foraged Smith. I started this as a side project while working as an HGV technician apprentice, where I discovered my love for metalworking while welding lorries. That experience sparked a passion for creating with steel, silver, and other metals.
Foraged Smith began as making hand crafted steel jewellery on the side, often from recycled or "foraged materials like cutlery. My signature metal boob designs were born from this approach, they started as recycled exhaust brackets, nuts and washers, a playful statement inspired by working in a male-dominated industry.
Sustainability and the freedom to create are at the heart of my work. I try to work with as many recycled or ‘foraged’ materials as possible, hence the name! While I now work primarily with silver, I continue to experiment with steel, brass, and other metals to bring one-of-a-kind designs to life.
Metal working allows me to bring to life bespoke designs and commissions; whether it’s a bespoke commission, recycled jewellery piece, or a foraged metal creation, my goal is to create jewellery that is meaningful, sustainable, and entirely unique.

Creating something new from what others discard brings me immense joy, and I hope every piece you wear carries that same love, care, and sustainable spirit.
