Sterling Silver & Brass Door Knocker Earrings – Handmade Mixed Metal Earrings
Having made a bespoke door knocker from brass and steel in 2025, I was inspired by the form and movement of traditional door knockers when designing these earrings. They are handmade from sterling silver and brass, combining contrasting metals to create a bold yet timeless pair of contemporary mixed metal earrings.
Crafted from recycled sterling silver and brass, the design allows gentle movement when worn, catching the light with the combination of cool silver and warm brass tones. These earrings are a take on traditional distinctive door knockers, with a modern edge while remaining comfortable enough for everyday wear.
Each pair is carefully handmade at my workbench in Bristol, UK, using sustainable materials and traditional metalsmithing techniques.
